Prior to January 1 1978 Mobylettes worked on the 6 Volts electrical system.

After this date the mopeds were fitted with the 12 Volts system

This is a 12V magneto. The condenser is beneath the left coil.

You can also mount the condenser in the back of this magneto in the round space made for it.
