Borg Warner condenser part number: G126
You can substitute the Motobecane condenser for a Borg Warner condenser part number: G126, it is made for 6V and 12V 60's and 70's cars .Also the NAPA RR-176 (1972 Chevy Nova - 6 cyl) condenser. It will work on the Motobecane 6 Volt ignition system. You may have to mount it outside of the magneto, there is a little round space already made for it on the back plate. All you have to do is drill a hole for the wire and one for the mounting screw. Motobecane did installed condensers on this spot for some of the 50 V models. A square condenser was mounted inside when Motobecane switched from 6V lighting system to 12V after January 1978. Some models had the round type condenser on the outside. .
How to install the condenser on the frame under the fuel tank.
